The bitter truth is that his and LTTE’s behavior has caused and torture beyond the Tamil community to imagine.
Most of these have been hidden for a long time due to the campaigns released by LTTE and its supporters.
It will take generations for Sri Lankan Tamil people to recover from the traumatic mood that happened in the past quarter of this century.

This is a work written by an Indian Tamil man who worked as a journalist for 40 years.
He has served in several positions in media organizations such as UNI, AFP and IANS and also as a special reporter, regional reporter and editor for diplomatic affairs in South Asia. He has countless field studies and field trips experience, plus nearly 40 years of experience in journalism.
He had direct interviews with hundreds of key people involved in the Sri Lankan Civil War including LTTE members, based on all that he has published the above views on the LTTE organization and its leadership in his work.
For years, I’ve been expressing those ideas based on my own experiences.
Someday, the Tamil community will accept my views. Until then, I will continue my work non stop. Over the past few years, I’ve been writing a book like this. The effort behind this book has become extremely difficult because it includes extensive research, field trips, and evidence from people involved in conflict. Last year alone, I spent nearly 5-6 months in the Colombo archives, I only left it when it entered at 9am and closed at 5pm. I’ve traveled all over the country and met a lot of former LTTE members who like to speak honestly.
If I wanted to repeat the same story everyone else is telling, it wouldn’t take such effort and commitment. But writing the truth takes a huge effort. Above all, it requires inner strength and mental courage.
In 2006, a 17-year-old girl who was forced to take her home by the LTTE for their children’s force. “Mir, we can’t talk. The pain of the cruelty we experienced during LTTE will remain with us till we die. We can’t openly talk about those scars. Even seeing you speak for us gives us some minimum or comfort. “
I cried the other night I interviewed her.
A foreign embassy once offered to provide financial aid for research and other expenses related to writing this book. However, I rejected that proposal, because it was an unagreeable fact to get money from a foreign embassy to write about a war created by the needs of foreign forces.
